Marketing Technology Service was pleased to
sponsor the sixth event in the Nonwovens Technology Conference series, first offered in 1998. This three-day event
included presentations of the highest standards by industry professionals on four major current topics:
• Adjusting to Changing Economics of Raw Materials
• Thin Absorbent Systems for Baby, Adult, Feminine and Absorbent Pads
• Designing Superior Surface Wiping Products
• Advances in Nonwoven Fabric Technologies
Also included each morning was a brief executive short course session covering topics relevant to the day’s agenda.

MTS Greyline Facility
Delegates to the Nonwovens Technology Conference were guests for an exclusive tour and demonstration of the new MTS Greyline Airlaid Facility, the most advanced airlaid facility now in operation.

Introduction to the Greyline Tour
3:30 p.m. -- Tour and Demonstration of the MTS Greyline Facility
A one-time-only special event for NTC delegates demonstrated thirteen state-of-the-art fabric recipes highlighting possibilities for airlaid using the unique new facility in Kalamazoo. This is presently the world’s most advanced airlaid installation.
Delegates were bussed from the Radisson to the MTS Greyline Facility, about 20 minutes away. Included in the demonstration
were the manufacture of advanced two-sided structures for wiping applications, density gradient structures, 100% synthetic fabrics, ultrathin high SAP composites, ultrasoft fabrics, on-line film lamination and diapers-on-a-roll.
6:00-8:30 p.m. -- Grand Opening Gala Dinner at Fricano’s Italian Restaurant, Chartered for this Event
A Grand Opening celebration dinner, sponsored by MTS, concluded the NTC event.
