for delegates to have an extensive technical background.
The airlaid machine demonstration was a rare event and a special
opportunity.

Celebrating its 29th consecutive year, INSIGHT
was held at Amelia Island Plantation on Amelia Island, Florida. The northernmost barrier island on Florida’s Atlantic Coast, Amelia Island is located just minutes away from the state line of Georgia and 30 miles north of Jacksonville International Airport. The only American territory that has been under the domain of 8 different flags, Amelia Island has been home to Mexican rebels, pirates and smugglers, Civil War soldiers, and Spanish missionaries. The island, known as the birthplace of the modern shrimping industry, offers historic sites, an incredibly diverse ecosystem, dining and shopping, and many recreational opportunities.
Amelia Island Plantation is a 1,350-acre nature preserve with 3 championship golf courses, 23 tennis courts, 8 restaurants, swimming pools and beaches, 7 miles of bike trails, deep sea and fresh-water fishing, kayaking, horseback riding, and other outdoor activities. Near the hotel is Fernandina Beach, a Victorian seaport village, featuring a 50-block historic district with many restaurants, shops and homes dating back to the late 19th century. Amelia Island has more than 50 restaurants, offering a variety of local and ethnic cuisines.

INSIGHT 2005 was held October 9-13, 2005 at the

downtown Minneapolis is home to 35,000 people in a compact 1 ½ square mile
area. Day or night, Minneapolis has a lot to offer!
DINING & ENTERTAINMENT
-
There are more than 275 restaurants, including the
big chains (Morton’s, Ruth’s Chris, Chevy’s) and specialty
restaurants (Irish, Japanese, Spanish, South American, German, Thai,

downtown area!
-
The Warehouse District, within walking distance of
the hotel, is the nightlife center of downtown with its nightclubs and
bars.

In the heart of downtown is Block E, an
entertainment complex featuring Steven Spielberg’s GameWorks, an
improv comedy club and a variety of restaurants.
SHOPPING
-
The 12-block pedestrian Nicollet Mall is the fourth
largest downtown retail shopping area in the country.
-
Downtown shopping offers 3 major department stores
(Marshall Field’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus), other specialty
chain stores (Borders Books, Crate & Barrel, Williams-Sonoma, Polo
Ralph Lauren), and small hole-in-the wall shops selling books, records,
unique clothing and art.
-
The downtown retail community is open evenings
Monday-Friday and all day on Saturday and Sunday.
-
More than 400 downtown stores and restaurants are
connected by the 7-mile climate-controlled pedestrian skyway in case of
inclement weather. (Average temperature in October: high of 60
degrees, low of 40 degrees.)
-
And of course there is the world’s largest mall, Mall of
America, just a quick Light Rail Transit ride away for only $2.00 each
way. The mall offers more than 520 specialty stores and dozens of

MTS Short Course in
Absorbent Products
This
executive-level short course is widely acclaimed as offering more useable
information than other available imitations. While technically
oriented and detailed, the study of heavy chemistry and equations is NOT
part of this briefing. Instead, the speakers make extensive use of
practical demonstration on VCRs and provide explanations of the proprietary
knowledge base required to understand the terms, the business and its
manufacturing. This course typically includes pilot plant
demonstrations of making advanced absorbent composites and prototype fabrics
not yet offered in the commercial marketplace. Suitable for new
employees and experienced professionals. Special custom short courses
can be arranged at your location. Click
